Sedona Professionals Spaghetti Western Auction

Speaking of the Auction…..

The Live Auction was presided over by Col. Dewayne J. Turner of Cowboy Auction Services. Dewayne is truly a remarkable talent! His interactive style and sense of humor had all at the event totally involved.  Dewayne mingled with the crowd and was soliciting bids from all directions and promoting fun (and profitable) bidding wars. All donated items, gift baskets and business services were sold for their relative retail value and in many cases much more! Everyone had a BLAST and the auction was a huge success!

One of the most effective ways to market yourself and your business is person-to-person, or in a small group setting. This is why Sedona Professionals choose to periodically hold events for our members and guests. This Spring Social Event was just another example of our commitment to serve the Sedona community integrity and quality. Feel free to contact our membership representative to learn more about becoming a member of Sedona Professionals.

Heartfelt Thanks to Dewayne, Charlene and all involved,

Prospective Clients:

We had heard about Col. Turner through a Board Member whose friend attended the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation auction in Mesa. Because we are a small city with a lot of charity auctions with the usual auctioneers, we were curious about this new auctioneer near our area.  A good auctioneer is hard to find and one never knows until the event how well the “fit” will be – with the audience as well as the event. What a wonderful surprise we found in Dewayne! He not only helped us raise more money than we expected, he raised the roof with laughter! He is a true professional as well as an entertainer. We received so many great comments about Dewayne after the event -we are looking forward to having him as our auctioneer for our gala event in November 2008. You won’t go wrong with Dewayne – he’s the best!!

Dewayne Turner was the M.C. and auctioneer for two of our 2007 not-for-profit fundraisers.  These are the only fundraisers we've ever had where the attendees are calling us now, asking when we're going to have another one.  Dewayne's great sense of humor, auctioneering skills, and wonderful ability to work a crowd made our fundraisers very entertaining and profitable!

To whom it may concern

This is a letter of recommendation for the auctioneer services of Col. Dewayne J Turner of Cowboy Auction Services. I believe Dewayne is one of the best in the business his professionalism and interaction with the auction crowd and staff is second to none. Dewayne has energy and a personal touch that transfers into the audience bringing the energy in the room up which in my opinion increases people’s willingness to bid on items. The audience receives a high energy environment along with a source of entertainment when he is running through an auction that transfers into higher bids and higher revenue for your auction. I have recommended Dewayne’s services to all ten of the local RMEF chapters in the state of Arizona and would recommend him for any auction service that anyone would have.

Col. Turner was the auctioneer at the Flagstaff Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet on the 11th of Aug 2007. He had been contacted to cover the auction about 2 hours before, due to an emergency with our original auctioneer. We were concerned, as we had never met him, and a mediocre auctioneer can be detrimental to raising money. Within 5 minutes of taking the stage, he had the crowd laughing and participating in the auction. Dewayne and the master of ceremonies would go out into the crowd and encourage bidders to continue bidding. The audience got a big kick out of that. He kept things moving, but did not cut bidders short.

I am the current Chairman of the Red Mountain Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in Mesa Arizona, and I am going to schedule Col. Turner for our banquet in May, 2008. We have a good auctioneer, but not one as entertaining and skilled as Col. Turner. If you want to raise money for your organizations or have property or possessions to sell... Dewayne is your man!!!
